Combined Art Societies of Sydney ‘Art at the Royal’ Exhibition 11th – 27th October 2024
The Combined Art Societies of Sydney’s ‘Art at the Royal’ Exhibition will run from 11th until 27th October 2024 at the Royal Art Society of NSW, Lavender Bay Gallery, 25-27 Walker Street, North Sydney 2060!
Explore a diverse collection of extraordinary works from award-winning artists and top finalists! The award presentation will be on Friday, 11th October from 6pm to 9pm.
Exhibition hours will be from 10am to 4pm on Monday to Friday, and from 11am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Our fabulous Annual Spring Affair Exhibition will be on 18th – 20th October from 10am to 4pm at the Richmond School of Arts, Murray Wing, March Street, Richmond.

Hawkesbury Now Exhibition 25th October – 24th November 2024
For MTAS members interested in exhibiting their work in the Hawkesbury Now Exhibition, please contact Sue Kennedy on 0448 224 287 by 30th September to secure your place as soon as possible.
Opening night for the exhibition will be on Friday, 25th October, from 6pm to 8pm, and the exhibition will continue until 24th November 2024!
Light refreshments will be provided at the opening night.

Artwork drop-off is scheduled between Friday, October 18th, and Monday, October 21st. The specific delivery schedule is yet to be confirmed.
The Hawkesbury Now Exhibition celebrates the diverse creativity of our beautiful region, bringing together groups and individuals working in various mediums including painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, ceramics, glass, and woodwork.
This event offers local artists the opportunity to sell their work, while residents and visitors alike can purchase original art from some of the region’s most renowned and accomplished artists.
A range of organisations are showcased in the Hawkesbury Now Exhibition, including the Macquarie Towns Arts Society, Hawkesbury Community Arts Workshop, Piggery Lane Studios, Hawkesbury Artists and Artisans Trail, and more.

MTAS Annual General Meeting Tuesday, 10th September 2024 Followed by Interactive Demo with Deidre Morrison
Reminding everyone that our Annual General Meeting will be held tomorrow, 10th September, at 7:30pm at the Deerubbin Centre, Windsor. The meeting will be followed by an Interactive Demonstration run by Deidre Morrison using Derivan Liquid Pencil.
The art supplies company Derivan will be providing us with some samples of Liquid Pencil, and we’ll be giving some away to members. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to experience the product firsthand, known for its versatility and unique application.

Both members and non members are welcome to our meetings to view an inspirational artist at work each month, as well as the opportunity to enjoy networking with like-minded art enthusiasts.

We want MTAS to continue into the future so please consider joining the committee.
Come along to our AGM to form a quorum and vote even if you are not nominating for a role. It is always good to hear our Annual Reports and support your Society.
If you feel you could assist with Committee in any capacity big or small we always welcome more helping hands. It is a great experience helping a local community group that has been in operation for over 65 years in the Hawkesbury.

Membership allows you to exhibit with us, come to our monthly meetings, join in with our workshops and activities for the Member’s prices, and receive our Monthly newsletter. You can enjoy the company of like-minded artists and craftspeople and release your creativity!
