Musson Lane Paint Along Open Day is Back! October 20th

Musson Lane Paint Along Open Day is Back!
Wednesday, 20th October from 10am to 4pm

It is with great pleasure we announce the reopening of Musson Lane for our Members with our next MTAS Paint Along Open Day next Wednesday the 20th of October from 10am to 4pm.

This will be under COVID Safe measures and social distancing.

Proof of Double Vaccination will need to be provided when you attend – either digital or on paper.

We have hand sanitiser and wipes, BYO mask. We have enough space and rooms for people to decently spread out to allow for safe distancing 1.5m apart with current legislation.
All surfaces are regularly sanitised and wiped down.

Please bring your own food. We have tea, coffee, etc an oven and a microwave in our kitchen. All are cleaned & sanitised after use.

Enjoy the company of fellow art enthusiasts, you can bring a project, art, craft, or any hobby.
You can watch or paint along with our DVD collection as well.

Members and guests are welcome.

Reminder this Tuesday 12th of October at 7.30pm we have our Monthly Meeting where Deidre Morrison will Demonstrate Oil Painting a “Hawkesbury River Scene.” This will be delivered via Zoom.

Deidre Morrison has been in the Hawkesbury as an artist and art teacher for the last 30 years. Holding a Diploma in Art Education and co-owning Richmond Art Supplies Art Shop in the main street of Richmond, Deidre loves to share her creativity with the art community in the area.

Deidre is proficient with many mediums – oils, watercolour, acrylics, pastel, pencil, charcoal, screen-prints, drawing, illustration, murals, posters, print making and crafting.

Join us to watch how Deidre paints her beautiful water scenes and imparts some of her brilliant skills to us as she demonstrates.

Online Art Challenge: October 2021 “Spring”

MTAS is pleased to announce the online Art Challenge theme for October is “Spring.”

You can make any kind of art you like for this theme. Something relating to the Spring season. Any medium… even digital. Why not try your hand at something you haven’t done before! 🙂

This challenge is for your own work and not a replication inspired by another artist’s work this month. Works can be for sale if you would like. Not for sale is ok too.

Please include any important accompanying details: Title, Size, Medium, and if it is for sale include the price.

This is a reminder and update for the September Art Challenge!

You can make any kind of art you like that encapsulates the Hawkesbury theme or something relating to the Hawkesbury and are welcome to use physical or digital mediums for the art you create.
This is a challenge for your own work and artistic sensibilities not a replication inspired by another artist’s work as in August’s challenge.

The MTAS Kids School Holiday Workshops are on again!
Due to Covid Restrictions these classes will be held via Zoom.
For 5-15yr olds. Limit of 10 students per workshop.

The Great International Craft Show
