Hawkesbury Show 2025 Entries Close – Tuesday, 22nd April
Entries are closing very soon for some of the pavilion sections for the Hawkesbury Show 2025.
The annual show runs from 9th -11th May 2025, with the Open Art and all Craft sections closing on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025 at 4.00pm.
For those who are planning to submit artwork, please ensure that your entries have been placed by this time online. You can also place paper entries via email or at the showground office. The office is open on Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.

Friends of the Hawkesbury Art Community & Regional Gallery Inc `Inspired by Turner` Exhibition 29th – 30th March 2025
The Friends of the Hawkesbury Art Community & Regional Gallery Inc (FOHacaRG) invites everyone to celebrate 250 years of J.M.W. Turner’s artistic legacy at the Inspired by Turner Exhibition this weekend, 29th–30th March 2025. The event will take place at the Stan Stevens Studio, Deerubbin Centre, 300 George Street, Windsor.
The exhibition will feature beautiful artworks inspired by Turner’s unique style, known for its use of light, color, and movement. Whether you are an art lover, a student, or just curious, this is a great chance to enjoy creative works and learn more about one of history’s most famous painters.
The exhibition is open from 10:00am to 4:00pm on both days, and entry is free. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the art!

Combined Art Societies of Sydney ‘Art of Sydney’ Exhibition 21st – 25th March 2025
Reminding all that the 33rd CASS Art of Sydney Awards will start tomorrow, 21st March until Tuesday, 25th March 2025 at the Randwick Town Hall, 90 Avoca Street, Randwick. It will be open from 10am to 5pm.
The judge for this year will be Paul McCarthy, and the presentation of the annual awards will take place on Saturday, 22nd March 2025 at 2pm, with light refreshments provided.
The annual Art of Sydney Awards Exhibition is a highly anticipated premier event that celebrates the creativity and talent of artists from across the region. This prestigious exhibition showcases an impressive collection of artworks created by members of the fourteen art societies that together form the Combined Art Societies of Sydney (CASS).

Entries for the exhibition will close on 15th March 2025.
Cheques should be made payable to FOHacaRG Inc. Cash payments can be made at Richmond Art Supplies, located at 1/328 Windsor Street, Richmond. Receipts will be available upon the delivery of work.
Delivery: To the Stan Stevens Studio on 27th March 2025 from 9.30am – 12pm. Late entries will not be accepted with no refund of entry fee.

Entry to this Awards Exhibition is restricted to current members of the member Societies of the Combined Art Societies of Sydney Inc. A current list of members is available at www.combinedartsocieties.com/members/.
Artists may submit a maximum of five (5) paintings, none of which should be priced under $150.00, other than miniatures. There is a maximum of only ONE (1) LARGE PAINTING per artist.
It is also a Condition of Entry that exhibiting artists volunteer some time to assist during the Exhibition. Please check the Terms and Conditions PDF for more info.
All artworks must be delivered to Richmond Art Supplies on 18th March between 12noon and 5.30pm, to then be taken down on the 19th March, please contact Satya on 0405 337 652 or Deidre on 02 4578 3555.
The delivery to the Randwick Town Hall, 90 Avoca St. Randwick will be on 19th March 2025 between 10am and 2:30pm if you wish to take yourself, but a group run of works will be taken for MTAS. Volunteers to help do the group run are very welcome.

Reminding all that the Combined Art Societies of Sydney Inc. will have a 4-Day watercolour plein air/studio workshop with Jenny Macnaughton Pearson at 72 Buchanan Street, Kandos. A 1-day option is also available, please specify your preferred day/s.
Join for a watercolour workshop set against a backdrop of stunning autumn colours! Immerse yourself in the serene pastoral beauty and towering cliffs of Wollemi National park.
Dates: 6th – 9th March 2025 Times: 9am to 3.30pm daily Price: $460 (4 day) or $130 for 1 day only (please state day/s)
Please Note: Price is for workshop only. It includes tuition, morning-tea and use of the facility. Lunch and accommodation is not included. Students will need to book their own accommodation.
Limited spots are available so book early to secure a spot.
