Monthly Demonstration Meeting
Monotype Art with Mellissa Read-Devine
Tuesday, 14th April 2026
We are looking forward to welcoming Mellissa Read-Devine to our next monthly demonstration meeting on Tuesday, 14th April, 7:30pm at the Stan Stevens Room, Deerubbin Centre, Windsor. Mellissa will demonstrate techniques in doing monotype art.
Both members and non-members are welcome to join our meetings to view an inspirational artist at work each month, as well as the opportunity to enjoy networking with like-minded art enthusiasts.
Cost is $5 at the door. Supper is provided and please remember to park outside due to early car park closure.
About Mellissa Read-Devine:
Mellissa was born in England and migrated to Australia as a child. She now resides in rural Sydney overlooking the Hawkesbury River.
Since the 1990s, Mellissa has studied & practised printmaking and painting, developing a vibrant style inspired by the natural landscape. Her work ranges between vibrant interpretations of her local landscape to intricate wood & linocuts. Her combination of quirkiness and calm blend creates works with a strong spiritual base.
A recipient of numerous Australian art awards, Mellissa’s work is sought after by collectors both locally and internationally. She is a fellow of the Royal Art Society of NSW and also teaches art workshops around the world.
