Reminding all that the 33rd CASS Art of Sydney Awards will start tomorrow, 21st March until Tuesday, 25th March 2025 at the Randwick Town Hall, 90 Avoca Street, Randwick. It will be open from 10am to 5pm.

The judge for this year will be Paul McCarthy, and the presentation of the annual awards will take place on Saturday, 22nd March 2025 at 2pm, with light refreshments provided.

The annual Art of Sydney Awards Exhibition is a highly anticipated premier event that celebrates the creativity and talent of artists from across the region. This prestigious exhibition showcases an impressive collection of artworks created by members of the fourteen art societies that together form the Combined Art Societies of Sydney (CASS).

With a diverse range of artistic styles and mediums on display, the event provides a unique opportunity for art lovers, collectors, and the wider community to appreciate and support local artists. It also serves as a platform for emerging and established artists to gain recognition and share their passion for art with a broader audience.

The 33rd CASS Art of Sydney Awards will be on from 21st to 25th March 2025 at the Randwick Town Hall, 90 Avoca Street, Randwick, from 10am to 5pm!

The judge for this year’s exhibition will be Paul McCarthy. The presentation of the annual awards will take place on Saturday, 22nd March 2025, at 2pm, with light refreshments provided.

PLEASE NOTE:

Entry to this Awards Exhibition is restricted to current members of the member Societies of the Combined Art Societies of Sydney Inc. A current list of members is available at www.combinedartsocieties.com/members/.

Artists may submit a maximum of five (5) paintings, none of which should be priced under $150.00, other than miniatures. There is a maximum of only ONE (1) LARGE PAINTING per artist.

It is also a Condition of Entry that exhibiting artists volunteer some time to assist during the Exhibition. Please check the Terms and Conditions PDF for more info.

All artworks must be delivered to Richmond Art Supplies on 18th March between 12noon and 5.30pm, to then be taken down on the 19th March, please contact Satya on 0405 337 652 or Deidre on 02 4578 3555.

The delivery to the Randwick Town Hall, 90 Avoca St. Randwick will be on 19th March 2025 between 10am and 2:30pm if you wish to take yourself, but a group run of works will be taken for MTAS. Volunteers to help do the group run are very welcome.

Reminder: The Art of Sydney will close tomorrow Friday, 10th March 2023.

Please put your entries in!
MTAS currently has low numbers of entries so please do consider entering.

The 32nd ART OF SYDNEY Awards is to be held at The Prince Henry Centre 2 Coast Hospital Rd, Little Bay. The event is from March 23rd until March 26th from 10am – 5pm each day.

PLEASE NOTE:

You can enter works that are more than 12 months old.

MTAS members can still enter if they can’t do duty (click through that part on the online entry).

All artworks must be delivered to Richmond Art Supplies on Wednesday, 22nd March between 10am – 5pm. If you can’t make that date please contact Satya on 0405 337 652 or Deidre on 0412 979 731.

The delivery to the Prince Henry Centre is on Thursday, 23rd March from 9:30am – 12nn. So far we have 2 drivers to take works down so this should be enough depending on the entries we have.

This exhibition is for ‘Members only of a CASS participating society’, so a password is required to access the information. You need to follow the steps below:

  • Go to www.artofsydneyexhibition.com
  • Click on ‘Members’ on the top menu
  • Use the password AOSE2023 to see the Entry Application form
  • Click on ‘Terms & Conditions’ for all information for the exhibition

ALL entries are accepted online and not via post or email.

Please put your entries in as soon as possible so we know numbers.

The 32nd ‘ART OF SYDNEY’ Awards is to be held at:

The Combined Art Societies of Sydney are pleased to announce that the Art of Sydney entries for 2023 are now available online.

The 32nd ‘ART OF SYDNEY’ Awards and is to be held at the Prince Henry Centre, 2 Coast Hospital Rd. Little Bay. The event is from March 23rd until March 26th, 2023.

This exhibition is for ‘members only of a CASS participating society’, therefore a password is required to access the information.

  • Click on ‘Members’
  • Use the password AOSE2023 to access the entry form
  • Scroll down and click on ‘Conditions’ for all information on entering.

All relevant forms can be completed online, therefore no need to scan and email/post.

Roster particulars become available once the entry form has been completed.

MTAS is also looking for volunteers to help deliver participating member’s artworks to the exhibit, so please reply to info [@] mtas.com.au if you can help with this.

MTAS Gallery Changeover This
Saturday, 19th June 2021

Hello Members, reminder to pick up your Autumn exhibition works on either this Wed 16th June, 10am – 3pm or Sat 19th June, 10am – 11am. The next hanging for Musson Lane Gallery is being hung this Saturday 19th.

Members can bring in 3 new works to change over or leave current works. If you want your current works to remain please let Sheila know asap Ph 0408 161 284.

The new artworks will be up until 4th Sept, $2 per work.

Please put your name onto 3 Roster duties since we have 22 sessions that need to be filled for this hanging.

MTAS Annual Autumn Exhibition
Gallery Open This Saturday, 12th June 2021

This Saturday, 12th June is the last day of our MTAS Annual Autumn Exhibition! Don’t forget to come and visit our Musson Lane Gallery open from 10am – 4pm.

We have stunning original art for your walls and lovely hand made gifts for your friends, family, or even yourself, all made by local Australian artists. View and purchase all these unique local paintings, pottery, jewellery, resin crafts, and more.

You can also meet some of the artists on duty and join in with your local art community.

The address is Unit 2, 1 Musson Lane, Richmond, NSW 2753.
Social distancing and Covid safe practices are in place.

Entry is free.
