Richmond Good Food Markets – April 29th

Plein Air Painting, Drawing and Sketching is back on, in conjunction with the Richmond Good Food Markets. The new date is April 29th. The markets open at 8am and wrap up at 1pm. MTAS members are invited to come down and paint/draw/sketch aspects of the markets and help promote MTAS for the whole time frame or part there-of. Vanessa, the market organiser, will consider all offerings to purchase.

MTAS will have a stall there selling raffle tickets and handing out promotional material.

Reminder: April 28th and 29th are also the Hawkesbury Show take in days and hanging afternoon of the 29th if anyone would like to assist with this please contact Sheila 0408 161 284.

MTAS Monthly Meeting & Demo 9th Feb – Malcolm Robertson Portrait in Oils


The Arts Society returns for 2016 with our first Monthly Meeting to be held on 9th February at 7:30 in the Stans Stevens Studio, Deerubbin Centre, George St, Windsor.

We are very happy to welcome locally renowned Portrait artist Malcolm Robertson to our meeting.

Malcolm Robertson will be working in Portrait in Oils and doing a painting of a live model. He is well known in the Hawkesbury for his Portrait painting and drawing. He won best in Show at the Hawkesbury Show in 2014.

Both Members and Non Members are welcome to join us for our meetings to view an inspirational artist at work each month, as well as the opportunity to enjoy networking with like-minded art enthusiasts.

7.30pm Tuesday 9th Feb at the Stan Stevens Studio, Windsor Library, Deerubbin Centre, George St, Windsor (Please arrange to park outside of Library due to car park early closure)

Entry is $5 for MTAS members and visitors (includes supper)

Macquarie Towns Arts Society has been active in the Hawkesbury area for over 50 years and new memberships with the society are always welcome.
