Welcome to Macquarie Towns Arts Society
We are dedicated to promoting and encouraging the advancement of the arts and crafts throughout the Hawkesbury region, celebrating creativity in all its forms and fostering a vibrant cultural community. From visual arts and craftwork to creative workshops and exhibitions, MTAS exists to nurture artistic expression and support initiatives that enrich the cultural life of the local area. Our commitment to this ideal underpins everything we do, whether that’s hosting demonstrations, coordinating field painting days, offering children’s art classes, or staging community exhibitions.
By supporting projects that align with this mission, we help provide opportunities for both established and emerging artists to share their work, build connections, and deepen their creative practice. Through collaboration, education and exhibition, MTAS plays a central role in connecting artists with the wider community, encouraging exploration of diverse artistic styles and fostering a welcoming environment where creativity can flourish.
