Hawkesbury Show 2025 MTAS Volunteers Needed for Hanging & Duty
Hi MTAS Members,
MTAS are the stewards each year for the Art Pavilion and we need volunteers from our Society to help!
The Hanging: If you are available on Saturday, 3rd May 9.30am until about 1pm (roughly) to assist with the Hanging we will need 12-14 people (in teams of two usually). Please call Kym as soon as possible for this one 0413 809 685 or you can email info@mtas.com.au.
Show Duty: We also need people to fill the Roster for Show Duty on the following days please:
Friday, 9th May – we need 3 people for each shift: 9am – 1pm 1pm – 5pm 5pm – 9pm
Saturday, 10th May – we need 3 people for each shift:
9am – 1pm 1pm – 5pm 5pm – 9pm
Sunday, 11th May – we need 3 people for each shift:
9am – 12:30pm 12:30pm – 4pm
Those who fill the duty positions will receive one free entry ticket on that date of the show.

Hawkesbury Show 2025 Entries Close – Tuesday, 22nd April
Entries are closing very soon for some of the pavilion sections for the Hawkesbury Show 2025.
The annual show runs from 9th -11th May 2025, with the Open Art and all Craft sections closing on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025 at 4.00pm.
For those who are planning to submit artwork, please ensure that your entries have been placed by this time online. You can also place paper entries via email or at the showground office. The office is open on Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.

The annual show runs from 19th -21st April 2024, with the Open & Open Junior Art, Photography and all Craft sections closing on Tuesday, 2nd April 2024 at 4.00pm.

Hawkesbury District Agricultural Association (HDAA) will be running an information day to promote and encourage new volunteers to assist in the preparation and running of the sections at the upcoming show.
It will be the opportunity to meet and discuss with each section of interest – what is involved etc.
The volunteers will be asked to complete a form which would include their preferred area to work in and estimated availability. This will ensure that the section or area will be of interest and an available time for the individual, maximizing their enjoyment in the experience of volunteering at The Hawkesbury Show.
Please also take this opportunity to invite friends or family who may be interested in getting involved.

Hi Members, we still need some more Volunteers who can assist with Duty at the Show. Please let us know as soon as possible if you can help by emailing to info [@] mtas.com.au or calling Kym on 0413 809 685 for the spaces listed below. We have enough for the Hanging of the Exhibition.
ROSTER DUTY AT THE SHOW We need people at the show to help man the front desk and look after the exhibition. You will receive a free entry ticket to the show!
We have people for the following time slots. Four people for each time slot so more are needed.

Hawkesbury Show 2023 MTAS Volunteers Needed for Hanging and Duty
The Hawkesbury Show is on again from 28th-30th April 2023!
We need MTAS helpers for hanging the exhibition and to assist with Duty at the Show to let us know as soon as possible if you can assist!
HANGING VOLUNTEERS The hanging is on Saturday, 22nd April from 10am, until all works are hung… usually around 2-3pm
A sandwich lunch is provided, with tea & coffee. You will work in pairs and need to be able to use a short ladder and electric drill or assist those who are up the ladder using the drill.

If we get your name in time, you will have A FREE ENTRY TICKET.
There will be an Entry Desk by the Main Door (old Photography position). You will watch/police those coming in and sell catalogues.
The Sales Desk will also be in its usual (exit) position. There will be Stewards (Gary Hudson, Kym Morris, Sheila Sharp + others) who will sit and help.

Art entries Close: By post MONDAY 6th APRIL 2020 by 4.00pm. Entry forms can also be hand delivered at the Show Office, or posted to P.O. Box 382, Richmond NSW 2753.

Craft Entries Close: TUESDAY 14th APRIL by 4.00pm by POST or at Showground office
