The Annual Hawkesbury Show is on again!

The Hawkesbury Show is on again 23rd-25th April!

Lots of attractions, rides, competitions, treats and of course the Art Pavilion, that you can enjoy with your family and friends.

You can get show entry tickets at the gate or on their website:

For those who entered artworks, are reminder for the dates below:

Delivery Days: Thursday, 15th April from 12pm to 4.00pm & Friday, 16th April 2021 from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Collection Day: Exhibits and ribbons may be collected from the stewards in the Pavillion on Monday 26th April, between 10.00am and 12 noon.

Don’t forget your entries for the Hawkesbury Show need to be in by 29th March.

You can pick up your Show Schedule at many places around town including our Musson Lane Gallery and Richmond Art Supplies or access the online resources on their site

Note the below dates:

Art Entries Close: By post MONDAY, 29th March by 4.00pm. Entry forms can be lodged at the Show Office, or posted to P.O. Box 382, Richmond NSW 2753
Art Entries Online: MONDAY, 29th March by 4.00pm

Our ‘Spring Affair’ Exhibition has been a wonderful event so far. The show continues for the next 2 Saturdays, so make sure you get to see it.

Come and enjoy the wonderful display of Art and Craft by our members, including local artists Frank Hodgert, Gloria Galvin, John Shields, Chris Seale, Jeanette Starr, Yvonne West, Deidre Morrison, Kym Morris, Annmaree Mitchell, Guenter Bath and many more.

The rivalry between Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso is one of the most significant stories of modern art, and it is this story that the National Gallery is telling this summer in its major exhibition Matisse Picasso.

Drawn from some forty important international collections, Matisse Picasso shows how these two pioneers of modern art mined each other’s work to enhance their own and shared the need to confront the challenges set by the paintings of Paul Cézanne.

MTAS Gallery is open in our new premises this 8th February
at 1 Musson Lane, Richmond.

Come and visit on Saturday 8th February from 10am-4pm to see our wonderful and unique local art & craft works.
We have beautiful creative gifts ideas for everyone, paintings, pottery, jewellery and more for viewing enjoyment.

Parking is in Orange Grove Mall car park behind St Andrews Church and walk up the lane towards March Street to the steps/ramp entrance.

Also Members don’t forget to bring in your works, we need more, and change over for this term of hanging! Find out more info on fees etc here

The CASS ‘Art of Sydney’ Award Winners!

Thank you to all the volunteers who assisted
at the Take-in weekend for the 30th Art of Sydney Awards!
All went reasonably smoothly and 350 works are wrapped ready for transport to the exhibition.

The exhibition will be 25th – 28th January 2020, 10am-6pm
at the Australian National Maritime Museum, The Terrace Room, Darling Harbour
