A reminder that you can still enroll in our fun-filled Full-Day Mosaics Workshop with Janelle Wymer on Sunday, 15th June 2025!

Suitable for members & guests of all levels. 

To secure your spot, please complete the enrolment form and send together with payment.

Venue: Stan Stevens Studio, Deerubbin Centre, 300 George St, Windsor
Price: $70 Members and $75 Non Members
Includes morning tea. Bring your own Lunch.
Materials: All materials to be supplied by Tutor except for gloves and apron to be supplied by students.

Annual Autumn Exhibition
 23rd – 25th May 2025

Our MTAS Annual Autumn Exhibition will be on 23rd – 25th May 2025! 

Opening night is on Friday, 23rd May at 7pm. The Exhibition will continue on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

There will be stunning original art for your walls and lovely handmade gifts for your friends, family, or even yourself, all made by local Hawkesbury artists and crafts people. You can purchase unique local paintings, pottery, jewellery, resin crafts, and more.

Reminding all that our next portrait group with a live model will be on Saturday, 10th May 2025.

The Portrait Group is held every second Saturday of the month from 1pm – 4pm at the Richmond Art Supplies Shop 1, 328 Windsor St, Richmond.

Cost is $15.00. If anyone would like to come along please text or call Deidre on 0412 979 731.

Model, easels & afternoon tea provided.
BYO Painting/Drawing materials.

We also need a model each month, so if anyone is interested in sitting for a portrait (fully clothed) or would like to suggest a sitter, please phone Deidre on 0412 979 731.

MTAS Autumn Exhibition
Entries Close – Monday, 5th May 2025

Hopefully you are all preparing your works for our Annual MTAS Autumn Exhibition on 23rd – 25th May 2025. We are looking forward to a beautiful event, with lots of local Art and Craft on display for your enjoyment.

Entry forms with payment are to be received by Monday, 5th May, so make sure you get your entries in!

Opening night is on Friday, 23rd May at 7pm. The Exhibition will continue on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Note: Craft is open to both members and non-members and will be displayed for sale. Please note that there is no craft competition.

An entry fee of $15 applies for a 1 meter square half table space, whether you are entering one item or multiple craft pieces.

Delivery of paintings is scheduled for Thursday, 22nd May, between 9:00am and 11:00am at the School of Arts, Murray Wing (main room), accessible via the March Street entrance. Entries will not be accepted after 11:00am, so make sure to arrive on time.

Delivery of craft is on Friday, 23rd May from 9am – 12noon.

MTAS Volunteers Needed for Hanging 3rd May & Duty at the Hawkesbury Show 9-11th May 2025

MTAS Volunteers Needed for Hanging & Duty

Hi MTAS Members,

MTAS are the stewards each year for the Art Pavilion and we need volunteers from our Society to help!

The Hanging: If you are available on Saturday, 3rd May 9.30am until about 1pm (roughly) to assist with the Hanging we will need 12-14 people (in teams of two usually). Please call Kym as soon as possible for this one 0413 809 685 or you can email info@mtas.com.au.

Show Duty: We also need people to fill the Roster for Show Duty on the following days please:

Friday, 9th May – we need 3 people for each shift:
9am – 1pm  
1pm – 5pm 
5pm – 9pm

Saturday, 10th May – we need 3 people for each shift:

9am – 1pm  
1pm – 5pm 
5pm – 9pm

Sunday, 11th May – we need 3 people for each shift:

9am – 12:30pm  
12:30pm – 4pm 

Those who fill the duty positions will receive one free entry ticket on that date of the show.

Hawkesbury Show 2025
Entries Close – Tuesday, 22nd April

Entries are closing very soon for some of the pavilion sections for the Hawkesbury Show 2025.

The annual show runs from 9th -11th May 2025, with the Open Art and all Craft sections closing on Tuesday, 22nd April 2025 at 4.00pm.

For those who are planning to submit artwork, please ensure that your entries have been placed by this time online. You can also place paper entries via email or at the showground office. The office is open on Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.
