We are excited to have Carol Gill back to our next monthly demonstration meeting on Tuesday, 14th July 2026, 7:30pm.
PLEASE NOTE: Venue Stan Stevens Studio, Deerubbin Centre Windsor. 300 George St, Windsor.
Carol will demonstrate Colour Sketching using Mixed Media.
Both members and non-members are welcome to join our meetings to view an inspirational artist at work each month, as well as the opportunity to enjoy networking with like-minded art enthusiasts.
Cost is $5 at the door. Supper is provided.

About Carol Gill:
Carol began her art career as a Graphic Designer spending her early years in advertising. Her passion for natural environment heavily influences her bodies of work, most of which are about the Australian landscape and its flora and bird life, the provenance of which is very important in her practise as a nature observer and artist.
Carol says: “I particularly like the way that the intense colours of the pure pigments combined with the organic textures of the mulberry paper evokes the power of the Australian landscape.“
Carol uses a wide range of traditional Korean mulberry papers or “Hanji”, tissue papers, water colours and gouache and loves the way they respond and react with one another.
She’s captivated by the textures and organic materials of the hanji papers and their relationship to the natural landscape from which they have been sourced. She enjoys bringing the beautifully delicate yet strong qualities of hanji to a very contemporary Australian theme.
