Our Annual Autumn Exhibition
26th – 28th May 2023

We are looking forward to a fabulous event, with lots of local Art and Craft on display for your enjoyment.

Opening night is on Friday, 26th May at the Richmond School of Arts.
You and your friends are invited to attend the opening function beginning at 7:00pm.

The Exhibition continues on Saturday, 27th May from 10:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday, 28th May from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

There will be stunning original art for your walls and lovely handmade gifts for your friends, family, or even yourself, all made by local Hawkesbury artists and craftspeople. You can purchase unique local paintings, pottery, jewellery, resin crafts, and more.

Our Raffle for the Autumn Exhibition is an oil painting by the late Frank Hodgert called
“Farm on the Hill, View Yarramundi.”

The raffle will be drawn at the close of the exhibition on Sunday, May 28th at 4pm.

Tickets are on sale at Richmond Art Supplies.
You can also get a packet of 10 tickets from the shop so that you can sell them to your friends.

Hopefully you are all preparing your works for our Annual MTAS Autumn Exhibition on 26th – 28th May 2023.

Entry forms with payment are Now to be received by 2nd May.

Since the Hawkesbury Show pick up is Mon 1st May and some people may want to transition unsold works we are giving you an extra day to get your entry in. Entries in by 4pm Tues 2nd – you can use email info [@] mtas.com.au or hand deliver to Richmond Art Supplies, make a cash payment with the form or Direct Debit. (Please note there is no Eftpos available for MTAS there at Richmond Art Supplies)

Please also make sure to tell us when you can help on the Roster with your entry.

So make sure you get your entries in!

Opening Tomorrow, 14th April 2023

The Friends of Hawkesbury art community and Regional Gallery (FOHacaRG) is inviting everyone to their “Prints on Paper Exhibition” starting tomorrow Friday, the 14th until 16th of April 2023 at the Stan Stevens Studio, Derrubbin Centre, Windsor.

Opening Event tomorrow is from 5pm -7pm. 

The Prints on Paper Exhibition will showcase a diverse range of printmaking images from the FOHACARG Collections – from woodcuts to engravings, etchings, lithographs & linocuts from the 19th & 20th centuries, plus local printmakers’ works which will be for sale.

Reminding all that the opening night for Sally Thompson’s Art Show is on Friday, 27th January from 6pm to 7.30pm. It will run until Saturday, 28th January from 10am – 4pm.

Sally Thompson is one of our very active MTAS members and recently did a demonstration for us with her beautiful flowers in acrylic works. Sally is having her first Art Show called ‘Ephemeral’ at the end of January. Be sure to catch this wonderful exhibition with Sally’s stunning works.

If you are in Windsor over the Australia Day long weekend, drop by and visit the Art Show at the Stan Steven Studio, Deerubbin Centre, 300 George St, Windsor NSW. On the floor below the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery.

‘Ephemeral’ will feature paintings of some of Sally’s favourite references taken at Mt. Tomah in the Blue Mountains. It includes the beautiful Waratah which has only just flowered again after the fires in 2019.

Bring your friends and family to check out the show.
