Colquhoun | Hansell
Hawkesbury Two Exhibition
Opening This Friday 6pm, 5th December 2025

Come along to view Colquhoun | Hansell – Hawkesbury Two, a special exhibition featuring highlights from Hawkesbury City Council’s cultural collections and celebrating two artists Enid Colquhoun and Greg Hansell, who have lived, worked, and found lasting inspiration in the region.
The Opening night will be on this Friday, 5th December at 6pm at the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery, Deerubbin Centre (Top Floor), 300 George Street, Windsor NSW. It will run until 8th March 2026.
For more than fifty years, Enid Colquhoun and Greg Hansell have been at the heart of the Hawkesbury’s creative life — not just through their artwork, but through their dedication to building a vibrant local arts community.
This exhibition brings together a stunning selection of works on paper, showcasing the distinct yet complementary ways each artist captures the Hawkesbury. Colquhoun’s atmospheric etched landscapes, full of mood and depth, sit alongside Hansell’s gentle, serene pastel scenes of familiar buildings and streetscapes.
Together, their works offer a heartfelt tribute to the region’s character and their enduring contribution to its cultural story. Come along and see the Hawkesbury through their eyes.
Also running from 6th December 2025 to 8th March 2026 is POSTWORLD Exhibition, featuring Australian artists who create parallel universes. This exhibition invites audiences into playful, poetic, and cautionary alternate worlds, exploring environment, gender, and society from fresh perspectives.
We look forward to seeing you there!
